On Thursday night, Tucker Barnhart hit his first home run and earned his first RBIs of the 2019 season. In the 5th inning, Barnhart hit a two run jack which proved to score the game-winning run for the Reds. To celebrate, Barnhart enjoyed an ice cold Coors Light postgame, and as you can tell from this picture, those mountains are blue.
It’s one thing to be a major league catcher. It’s another thing to be a major league catcher who’s won a Gold Glove award and can hit longballs. But to be a major league, Gold Glove winning catcher that can hit longballs, especially in the cavernous Petco Park, is something special. Tucker is a legend, and his legend will only grow as the season goes on. Cheers to you, Tucker. Enjoy that silver bullet.
